Data & Dine is a scientific poster session and networking dinner for University of Pittsburgh postdoctoral associates and scholars to present their research to colleagues, faculty, and administrators. Due to the professional nature of the event, attendance is restricted to adults. Business casual attire encouraged.

  • Poster Session: 5PM-7PM
  • Dinner: 7PM-9PM

Travel Awards for Best Poster Presentations

Posters may feature work previously presented, planned to be presented at other local or national meetings, as well as works in progress (including experimental designs and preliminary results). Postdocs who do not yet have research at Pitt warranting a poster submission are also encouraged to attend.

Abstract Requirements for Posters

Please follow the following guidelines if you plan to submit an abstract:

  • Microsoft Word Document (.doc, .docx)
  • Font: Times Roman, Size 12, Single Spacing, One-Inch Margins
  • Length: Abstracts are limited to 1800 characters excluding spaces and should not contain graphs or images.
  • 1st line: Title
  • 2nd line: Author(s): Last Name, First Name
  • 3rd line: Affiliation(s)
  • Name Your File: (First author's last name)_datadine2018.doc

Lactation Rooms
The University Club has a lactation room on the Lower-Level, Nursing room. There are two chairs, a small table, and outlet/power source next to the restroom. Use is first-come, first-serve. Doors lock from the inside. Room contact is Rosemarie Basso, rob42@pitt.edu
